Spend the weekend in the Sunny East Coast at Gisborne Archery Club competing in a NZFAA Sanctioned Indoor Event.
Gisborne Archery Club will host a NZFAA Sanctioned Indoor Event at Gisborne Archery Club hall, 118 Disraeli Street, Gisborne.
This Indoor event will allow archers to produce scores essential for participation at the IFAA 2019 World indoors to be held in Wellington 8-12 April 2019 –
The rounds to be shot is the IFAA standard indoor round.
The event will consist of 3 standard indoor rounds, two of which will be shot on Saturday and the third Sunday morning.
Saturday 22nd September 2018
 Registration on Saturday from 12 noon.
 Equipment inspection 12.30pm
 The 1st round starts at 1pm Saturday, the second round will commence at approximately 5pm. Pizza will be provided at no charge in between the 2 rounds on Saturday. Soup and hot drinks will be provided all day at no charge also
 Shooting Line is capable of 30 spaces, the round may be shot in a double detail
 Max bow poundage – 60 lb.
Sunday 23rd September 2018
 Registration and equipment inspection for new participants 8.45am
 The third round will commence at 9am
 Prize giving after third round – winners receive placings for combined score of all three rounds in each division
The event format is 2 practice ends per round, then 6 ends of 5 arrows, a short break, followed by another 6 ends of 5 arrows.
Each end is timed at 4 mins.
Distance for Adults/Juniors is 20 yards, Cubs 10 yards.
PAA targets, shooters choice of single face or 5 spot.
Pre-registration for shooting is essential
