New to Archery?
Thinking about learning archery but not sure where to start? Look no further!
Shore Archery Club offers a beginner-friendly course for those with little to no experience. Our group sessions run every Saturday morning throughout the year and are open to everyone aged 10 and up, guided by Archery New Zealand-qualified coaches.
In this course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of archery technique, range safety, equipment use, and scoring. All necessary equipment is provided.
Due to a recent surge of interest in archery across Auckland, We’re operating a waiting list – which may take up to a year to join a Saturday morning course.

Beginner Course Details
- Fees: $270 per person
- Course time: One session, 9am-10.30am
- Course duration: 1.5 hours over six consecutive weeks
- Location: Shore Archery Club, 9 Argus Place, Wairau Valley, Auckland 0627
- Maximum number per group: 18 people
Private/Small Group Coaching
If our group courses are full, we do offer very limited private coaching. The times vary depending on the availability of coaching staff.
The cost is $450 per person, with a maximum of two people to receive coaching.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
- If you cannot attend your course and wish to cancel, you can do so up to 14 days prior to your course start date to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the start of the course are entitled to a 50% refund or can request a later course, providing we are able to find a replacement for your space.
- Cancellations after the course has started will not be entitled to a refund or be able to request a later course.
