If you have ever thought about learning archery, but didn’t know where to start – look no further! Shore Archery Club offers a beginners course for those with little to no experience in archery.
Our group beginner courses run on Saturday mornings throughout the year and are available to everyone aged 10 years and up. All courses are run by Archery New Zealand qualified coaches.
During the course you will learn the basics of archery technique, safety on the archery range, equipment and scoring.
All equipment is provided.
Course details
- Fees: $210 per person
- Course times (there are two session times available)
Session 1 – 8am to 9:30
Session 2 – 10:00am to 11:30am - Course duration: 1.5 hours over six consecutive weeks
- Location: Shore Archery Club, 9 Argus Place, Wairau Valley, Auckland 0627
- Maximum number per group: 12 people
Archery courses are popular throughout the Auckland region and as a result, we do not operate a waiting list – spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis.

To apply for a place on our next available beginners course, please complete the. Once your application is received, a member of our coaching team will be in touch.
Private / Small Group Coaching
If our group courses are full, we do offer very limited private coaching. The times vary depending on the availability of coaching staff.
The cost is $450 per person, with a maximum of two people to receive coaching.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
- If you cannot attend your course and wish to cancel, you can do so up to 14 days prior to your course start date to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the start of the course are entitled to a 50% refund or can request a later course, providing we are able to find a replacement for your space.
- Cancellations after the course has started will not be entitled to a refund or be able to request a later course.
